Library Rules and Information

  • Strict silence should be observed inside the library.
  • The library functions from Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and remains closed on Sundays and government holidays.
  • Library users should sign the gate register before entering the library.
  • Users are required to deposit their bags/belongings at the personal belongings rack.
  • Students must wear their ID cards while inside the library.
  • Students can use the reference books in the library only upon submission of their ID cards.
  • Misuse of library facilities is an offense and will result in punishment as decided by the competent authority.
  • Users are required to keep the library neat and tidy.
  • Mobile phones must be switched off in the library.

Library Overview

The library is an integral part of the intellectual power of our college. Covering an area of 11,000 sq.ft., it has a seating capacity for about 50 readers. Currently, the library houses a collection of over 5,000 books, 205 back volumes, 176 project reports, and previous year question papers. The library subscribes to 6 international journals, 10 magazines, and 5 newspapers.

Each academic year, our library acquires more than 600 new books. Additionally, the library subscribes to various E-Resources packages, facilitating extensive knowledge exploration for around 150 students who use the library daily. Our college library is also linked with the National Digital Library (NDL), further enriching the resources available to our students and faculty.

This version organizes the information clearly and concisely, making it easy for readers to understand the library rules and available resources.
